The first mobility of our project

Тhe first meeting within the Erasmus + project “New Dimensions of Education” was held from 17th  to 23rd  February 2019, at the host school  Agrupamento de Escolas Eduardo Gageiro in Lisbon, Portugal.

16  teachers from Romania, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Portugal and Turkey have attended the first mobility. The host teachers  Claudia Correira Barata, Paula Cardoso Alcobia, Luis Roque,   have presented various teaching techniques and methods including activities to the participants.

At the beginning there was a presentation of all participants in the project and  the visit throughout the host school.  Afterwards the following activities took place: Workshop Robotics activities organized by Robotics and Programming Club students – RoboPESS and the Professional Course of Management and Programming and Computer Systems, Conference Cybersecurity, Workshop of activities of design, carried out by the students of the Course of Graphic Design, Workshop of activities and demonstration of the use of drones in the teaching, by the students of the Club of Robotics and Programming and the Professional Course of Management and Programming and Computer Systems, Robotics and programming activities developed by 1st and 2nd cycle students. Through these activities, there were opportunities to see the new advances in technology that were applied in schools and the education of students.

By organizing a visit to the primary school Bartolomeu Dias Basic School and secondary school, the  teachers shared their views on the similarities and differences of educational  systems.

Through an organized tour we were introduced to the historical and cultural sites of Lisbon and Belem, which are one of the tourist centers of Portugal. We visit the city symbol places such as Belém, MAAT Museum, Jerónimos monastery, The oceanarium in Lisbon.

There was also a meeting of the participants about the rules and the doubts about the projects and at the end the certificates were given to all participants of the farewell dinner.
