“New dimensions of Education” is an innovative project initiated within the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for School Education, aiming at achieving cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices between schools from different countries across Europe.

Studies and analysis of various scientific research indicate that school education lacks of variety of teaching strategies and approaches. The school teachers tend to develop unfounded fears of new teaching strategies and try to avoid crossing “safe circle” of
traditional teaching ways. That means poorer attitude to the school education as a less important to the pupils than basic school education. The project”New dimensions of Education” is based on a philosophy of holistic education and aims to encourage school teachers to integrate new, less used teaching strategies to the practical process of education. Incorporation the cultural knowledge
and school experience from project partner schools of Lithuania, Turkey, North Macedonia, Romania, Portugal and Greece will be accomplished.

The main goals of the project, responding to the European priorities:
 improving and promoting new teaching strategies and skills for better quality of school education;
 sharing cultural diversities in school education;
 encouraging teachers of introducing innovations;
 strengthening the professional skills of the preschool teachers.

The project is focused on improving widely used in the education of school teachers’ teaching strategies like play, experiments, music ,stem, techniques for extra curriculur studies and promoting such underutilized teaching ways like ICT approaches in school education. As the main target group is 9 – 17 years old children from different countries, cultural activities are the main tool and content of the implementation of the project – adaptation and integration innovative teaching technologies to the process of education.

We also hope that the project will lead to sustainable cooperation between the partner institutions beyond the duration of the project.
Our priorities depend on the fundamental touchstones of education. They are teachers and students.

Firstly, we will try to improve the profile of teaching professions as the first part of our project, that’s why; we as teachers improve and update ourselves. In other words, we will apply different and useful techniques. Secondly, we will focus on the education of teachers. I mean while teachers are innovating their teaching techniques and methods, they will take necessary education for themselves in terms of innovations in education. Lastly, we will address the low achievement in basic skills through more effective teaching methods. Pisa 2012 results make evident that students’ knowledge is poor and motivation for math and similar subjects is low. Implying priorities of European Commission, like e-learning, Stem, ICT based teaching, will raise motivation and also develop basic skills and improve knowledge in science, math and ICT. That is, we will increase the rate of success by implementing different techniques and methods
in accordance with the technological developments of our time. Because students can participate in lessons more eagerly with the help of methods and techniques that are different from routine and include comteporary styles. To sum up, we will strengthen the fundamental parts of education(teachers and students)with the help of our priorities.
